We finally heard back from the bank about the house we had put an offer on, and it sounds like all offers are on hold at this point. The bank is selling the house in a "loan pool"...still not exactly sure what that means! Anyway, we went back out with our realtor today, and we've found another house we like. So, hopefully tomorrow we'll be putting in another bid. We've learned our lesson though. We're going to try not to get too attached so soon! We'll see how it goes. I'll keep you updated! Thanks for all your prayers!

Rock Band
Micah and I went to Best Buy today to get a GPS and to see if they had any Wii Fits in stock. We've been wanting to get one for a while, but they're not in stock anywhere. So, when we walked in there was a huge selection of Rock Band for the Wii. I could tell he was kind of looking at them, but I didn't think anything of it. We picked out our GPS, and as we were walking around he finally looked at me and asked "think we'd have fun if we bought Rock Band?" I knew it was coming and it was only a matter of time. So, I said sure, and after he spent a lot of time convincing himself, he finally bought it. We've been home from the store for about 5 hours now, and Rock Band has been on for about 4 of those. My whole family has been playing it. It's actually pretty funny to watch them. Enjoy these pics....
Ryan's still trying to figure it out!
He has it down now!
Get it boy!
She's the little pro!
Family Night
So, we have a new tradition in the family. Every 3rd Friday night we get together at my aunt's house with several cousins and family members, and usually some type of game is involved. This past Friday we decided on dominoes--chicken foot. Micah apparently got bored waiting on everyone to play, so he created his own domino game. By time he was finished, the whole family was watching intently as he played. He's really just a big kid!!!
It was a success everyone! He stacked all 91 dominoes up without knocking them down! I'm pretty convinced he set some type of world record! We're still looking into it!
House Hunting...Still
It's come to my attention that I haven't been doing a very good job of keeping the world updated through the blog, sorry about that! (and thanks Amy!) So, we've put a bid in on a house, as I mentioned before, but we still haven't heard anything. It's almost been 2 weeks, but we were told that bank owned homes can take several weeks. So, don't think I haven't released the good news, we're just still waiting. We have a feeling they're going to counter-offer, but we're just waiting. I'll keep you updated as we know more! Continue to pray!!! With the wedding drawing near, we're ready to get the house situation settled!

House Hunting
.jpg)
Micah and I went out house shopping today. We met a realtor yesterday, and she took us out to look at 7 houses today. We found one that we've already fallen in love with. It's a steal. Definitely needs a lot of TLC, but we wanted a fixer-upper. So, hopefully, God-willing, we can get it. We're trying not to get too attached, but...we're attached!! If it doesn't work out, hopefully that means God has something better for us. Right now, we're just praying He opens all the right doors!! It's crazy when I sit back and realize within 3 months I'll be married and we'll be in our own house. I love it!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
Traditional New Year's Eve Party. Every year we have family and friends over for food, fun, fellowship, and DOMINOES. This year wasn't any different. We had multiple tables of dominoes going, and we had a great time! Lots of food, and plenty of fun to go around! I was super excited cause it was the first New Year I was able to be with Micah...even though he chose to play at a different table than me! ;)
We hope everyone had a very happy new year, and we wish you the best in 2009!!!
Here are a couple of the tables and friends playing.
Final Christmas Pic
Every Christmas my parents make us sit on the steps and take a picture. Normally it's first thing in the morning, so it's really pretty...hair everywhere, no make-up. Anyway, this year, it wasn't until the evening, so we we look a little better. Seems like every year, there's an addition to the family! :)
Pics of Christmas
Christmas night we went to CS to meet some cousins and we hung out for a few days. It's the 2nd Annual College Station Trip, and we're trying to make it a new tradition. I've attached some pics:
This is Dustin managing the bonfire. You can't tell from the pics, but it was pretty big. My brother and cousin doused it with gasoline, then shot Roman Candles at it to light it. Yeah...safe!
My mom and sisters huddled around the fire. As you can see from the pics, we made smores. You can't have a bonfire without them!
My brother and his girlfriend Dana.
Micah and I hanging out around the fire.
My cousin Cassi and her hubby Dustin.
This is my cousin Corey (who is clearly a goof!!) and his wife Amy out by the bonfire.
